<<<<Continued from previous message>>>>
The third light was at first motionless, but after some time
it shifted slowly towards the others with a linear uniform speed.
It stopped after having covered two-thirds of the distance that
separated it from them (figure 3b). The other two lights began to
move together, as if they were joined, their diagonal alignment
becoming horizontal. The pair became smaller and less intense,
but at the same time two chains of red and green lights appeared
joining the two. The distance between them grew greater and
eventually the two lights disappeared, leaving only the red and
green crown of light visible.
The third light also changed during this time it became
fainter and acquired its own oval crown of small red and green
lights. The vertical axis of the ellipse thus formed grew
gradually longer, but the second crown was smaller than the first
(figure 3c). The two witnesses thought that the chains of light
were fixed to the sides of objects that were changing their tilt,
but neither of them could actually see the objects. Followed by
other vehicles, they continued to drive on. Mr. Wengere had
slowed down only slightly. The lights were lost once again behind
some houses, this time for good.
The Wengeres were already aware of the UFO phenomenon as a
result of a previous sighting. On July 20, 1989, at about 6:50
p.m., they had both been out in their garden. The sun was shining
and the sky was cloudless. Mrs. Wengere noticed an elongated,
silvery object. It moved like an aircraft, but she could see
neither wings nor tail. It was simply cigar-shaped and completely
silent. She pointed it out to her husband, who was equally
surprised. Mrs. Wengere thought it so strange that ten minutes
later she telephoned the air-traffic control at Zurich-Kloten
airport. She learned that there had been no "official flight" at
that time over her home and that nothing abnormal had been
recorded on the radar screens.
Mrs. Wengere was unable to stop thinking about what she had
seen on October 14. She remembered having read about a large
number of sightings of UFOs in Belgium. On October 20 she decided
to telephone the air traffic center at Zurich-Kloten. They had
seen nothing unusual on their radars during the evening of
October 14, and no one else had reported a similar phenomenon.
The man who answered the telephone said, "It must be an optical
illusion due to some sort of reflection." He said this haughtily,
adding that he received many telephone calls of this kind, but
that they were almost always optical illusions. This indicates
that there were other UFO reports, although the explanation he
offered was purely gratuitous.
I note that in the United States a photograph was taken on
May 26, 1988, near Southbury of a beautiful crown of alternating
red, yellow and green lights against a black background. This is
documented by a magnificent slide that I have received from
Philip Imbrogno, co-author of the book Night Siege. This shows
that one must not treat each case in isolation as if it were
unique, but search for correlations as has to be done for any
physical phenomenon. For this reason we must not focus our
attention solely on the events of March 30-31, 1990, whatever
their possible importance may eventually be.
As for the "flying angels effect," which has led to some
notable problems in atmospheric physics and useful knowledge for
radar operators, this discovery was simply a by-product of
rational study of the UFO problem. As such it underlines that it
is worthwhile to look carefully at mysterious phenomena. I expect
that the thoroughness and seriousness of our study of radar
"noise" will help our credibility as we examine other aspects of
the UFO phenomenon.

Hmm, I'm wondering how you'll send it to me, I presume
US Snail-mail so here's the address....
500 S. State #40
Edmond, OK 73034
I got ahold of a copy of Strieber's Majestic and find
most of it to be interesting. I still get the impression
that the Roswell debris was hijacked in mid-air and that
the government officialdom is still quite embarrassed.

I recently heard a Radio One program in the UK that contained
an interview with a leading proponent of the popular "US Government has
aliens locked up and is experimenting with their spaceplanes" conspiracy
theory. However this particular individual sounded very reasonable, did
not make any outrageous claims, and further had some interesting facts
to disclose. In particular he mentioned several verifiable facts which
I would like some followup on:
Rockwell International and NASA were planning a *massive*
joint exhibition of space exploration this year (1991) but it was delayed
inexplicably until 1992. In the *official* prospectus for this exhibition,
one of the exhibits was clearly stated to be "an extraterrestrial space
craft". When asked about this by various individuals, all enquiries
were referred by NASA to the US DoD. An unnamed Pentagon spokesman speaking
off the record is meant to have indicated that they "had a number of such
vehicles to choose from..."
The Pentagon also held a press conference to deal with press
inquiries on this matter - and refused to answer any questions. In fact
reporters later said that the Pentagon had asked most of the questions,
and they all pertained to "what would be the public reaction if...".
The guy on the radio program referred extensively to two NASA
consultant engineers who claimed to have worked on alien spacecraft
studying propulsion systems for NASA - both had high level security
clearance in the States, were verifiably employed by NASA as senior
consultant engineers, and both were phoned in the States by the station
in a followup program (which I missed) the next day. The followup program
incidentally was only scheduled at the last minute due to record phone
calls from the public swamping Radio 1's 64 line switchboard...
He also claimed that a NSA official had told him off the record
that the NSA was in "electronic communication" with at least eight
extraterrestrial sources of intelligent communication...
He claimed that he possessed a recording of a telephone conversation
with an ex deputy director of the CIA (Casey's deputy as I recall), who
said that they (the CIA) had possession of quite a few alien artefacts,
including bodies, spacecraft and other miscellaneous bits and pieces.
He also verified on tape claims that several alien landings at US AFBs had
occured in the past, and in some cases were common knowledge amongst certain
groups of AFB personnel: "Hear what came in this morning, Joe?"...
Various farmers in a certain area of the US (I forget the state
that was mentioned) regularly discovered bloodless (drained) cattle in
various stages of dismemberment in the early morning. These animals had
had certain glands, body parts, or body fluids surgically removed with a
precision beyond the capabilities of all but the most advanced surgical
laboratories. This problem was so bad that in one place a farmer was in
danger of going bust due to loss of cattle. One explanation advanced was
that
aliens were using these cattle as a convenient source of various rare
chemicals/tissues.
The technology in the latest black projects that have progressed
to flight hardware - Aurora, Strike, etc. - seems to be well beyond the
capabilities of current commercial (defense/aerospace) technology. In
particular ablative control surfaces and reliable flight control at speeds
in excess of Mach 4 are characteristics of such craft, sightings of which
are widespread in Nevada along with reliable evidence (supersonic boom
disruption?) of such speeds.
Any comments/hard info. on any of these assertions would be
much appreciated - please post as I am sure others are interested too.

+Subject: A Strange Object/New Circles at the Punchbowl
+******************************************************************
+
+ While driving home from Twyford, Hants on Wednesday evening
+ along the M3 with my wife we noticed this strange dark object
+ 'flying ?' above us . It was very much a oval/rectangle shape and
+ seemed to be flying about 45 degrees forward of vertical . This
+ object had a very bright light at the top and bottom of the view
+ we could see and these were not flashes but pulsing . This object
+ gradually gained speed and as it did so the pulsing lights got
+ faster and faster . Eventually it sped up and was a good five miles
+ in front of us but still parallel to the M3 and the pulsing light was
+ still extremely bright . The light seemed to be pulsing and the two
+ lights seemed to pulse and create a third in the middle of them.
+
+ We were also aware of another object pacing it but about half a mile
+ behind it. This could have been a helicopter as it had a flashing light
+ but it also had a bright white light coming from underneath it like a
+ spotlight . Eventually the bright pulsing red light really sped up and
+ disappeared below the horizon. It was about 9:50 and getting quite dark
+ but we could make out that the object, what ever it was, was very large.
+
+ We live within about 10 miles from RAF Odiham , a Chinook helicopter
+ base and at first thought it was a Chinook, but dismissed this as even
+ one of these that low would be heard over the road noise. It was
+ probably twice the size of a Chinook and had totally different lights
+ underneath it and these were far too bright and were pulsing.
+ All very strange ....
+
+ The weird part of the story is that after this light had disappeared
+ my wife joked that it was probably on its way home from creating a
+ crop circle in the Punch Bowl .
+
+ Well, curiosity took over and last evening we went down to Cheesefoot
+ Head to see if anything had appeared and to our amazement there is
+ a formation in the Punch Bowl. This formation a basically a 2 or 3
+ ringed circle with a tail and is near the edge on the left . We saw
+ it about 10 pm last evening and as it was nearly dark details of
+ the formation were quite sketchy . It could be a hoax as it is near
+ the edge for easy access and its tail or spur looked rough . I will
+ probably go back down there over the weekend and check this out .
+ If it is for real I wonder if it is tied up with the pulsing light ?
+********************************************************************
+ I re-visited the Punch Bowl on Friday night and the formation
+ looks a genuine one. It is basically a 'insectogram' head and
+ antennae . The head is two rings with very large curving paths
+ coming from it with smaller circles at the end .
+
+ Also Thursday night a new formation appeared by the very first
+ formation at Chilcomb . This is difficult to see from the road but
+ looks similar to the original one but larger . Friday night it had
+ been swamped with people and is now probably very trampled.

Subject: Re: Alternative hypothesis for UFOs?
Date: 10 Aug 91 11:40:00 GMT
st>From: Will Martin <wmartin@stl-06sima.army.mil>
Hi Will. I'm playing catchup on a *lot* of interesting mail and your post
on time travel was very interesting and thoughtful.
st>But the behavior CAN be explained if one thinks of the UFOs as
st>time-travel phenomena. Why come here? Because we are the place the
st>travellers are; we are just their past. Why appear where they do?
st>Because the sites UFOs appear here and now are the counterparts of where
st>the labs or take-off sites are in the future(s) they come from.
But what if they come from the past? Toward the end of the Cretaceous,
there was a very interesting little brachiopod that had a brain bigger than
a dog's. It walked upright and evolved an opposed thumb.
Now consider: the entire span of human evolution spans about 2-1/2 million
years. The Cretaceous period lasted tens of millions of years. In fact,
the extinction of the dinosaurs may have taken longer than the entire period
of human evolution.
What if the smart little brachiopod grew up into a sentient critter like the
model that was on display at the Smithsonian? What if the *dinosaurs*
mastered time travel?
st>behaviors inconsistent between various UFOs? Because time travel, by its
st>very nature, means that the travellers appearing here can have come from
st>many different periods of the future. Some phenomena we see could be the
st>results of early experiments in time travel, or botched attempts, even.
Yes! Or -- maybe they occur *naturally*? Perhaps as a regular consequence
of flows or aberrations within the earth's mantle?
st>Maybe crop circles are caused by vortices made by unsuccessful
st>time-travel attempts, or the initial tries to set up force fields linking
st>future and past, and they appear where they do because that is the place
st>where the lab will be located 400 years from now.
st>Maybe the UFOs we see around Gulf Breeze and various rural areas are
st>there because they are early attempts at time travel from labs or sites
st>at the equivalent places in the future, and these early attempts don't
st>have much spatial-travel capability, or they want to hang around the
st>home base for easy retrieval. Other, far-ranging UFOs could be later,
Maybe. But if they're time machines, then the motive for the actions *must*
be in the future. Specific actions -- like the disappearance of Frederic
Valentich or fetus "implants" or highly specific flaps (like Westchester
around IBM's headquarters or Belgium near the EEC's new capital).
st>[I admit I am ignoring all the many paradoxes and traditional arguments
st>against the possibility of time travel, and am also ignoring the fact
st>that physical location varies over time; the planet and solar system and
st>galaxy are all moving through space and spinning, so the exact *place* you
st>were a few minutes ago is now out in space somewhere. But
All true -- but that might account for the "holographic" nature of many
UFOs. Often, they seem to be "focused" out of nowhere. Occasionally, they
will be observed "merging" together. It's almost like they're being located
in a particular time and place before they become material: much like the
3-laser beams in a CD player or an actual hologram.
Perhaps time travel *is* possible? Because, if it is, Time's Arrow can
somehow fly both ways -- even sideways. Furthermore, *if* time travel is
possible, then the universe itself is holographic.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If time travel is possible, then the universe (and in fact, all reality)
contains every element of its past, present, and future -- all at once,
side-by-side. Like a CD of Beethoven's Ninth. Depending on how you focus
the 3 lasers of the CD player, you're in the Overture, or the Ode to Joy, or
anywhere in between.
I've got a file on my board called REALITY.ZIP. It's about this very thing
and the implications of the universe being holographic.
I'll post parts of it here & we'll see what you think...
Best,
Clark

In general terms, the idea is to get magnetic fields to collapse on top of
one another and in on themselves. High frequencies and 90-degree windings
are characteristic of working N-machines (including the Newman motor,
interestingly).
As a result, many people say that free energy machines aren't free. They're

That is the question...
